Description
How do we navigate the paradox of feeling both oversaturated and distant in a world teeming with strangers? Consider the people we pass on the street, the faces flickering on our phones, and the ambient conversations enveloping us like a gentle breeze. And amidst it all, there's the unexpected human warmth lingering on a staircase railing, left behind by those utterly unknown to us. Here, my photographic research results in printing the same anonymous-non-existent face onto varied materials, using material translation as mode of anonymity onto the soft gloves we wear every day.
Outcome
A range of media and assets created through a photogrpahic exploration of the anonymous human form: anonymizing the silhouette, anonymizing the face. In the end, printing something so human and personal, captured in such a cold and distant way, onto pairs of soft gloves that became isntant conversation starters on the collective conciousness of anonymity in a surveilled, and AI-generated era.
